Cleaning methods for mechanical parts of cranes
Nowadays, cranes have been widely used in various industries for production. During the operation of lifting machinery, regular cleaning of the machinery can prevent some unfavorable situations from occurring, thereby ensuring production. How to better maintain and upkeep in a scientific way? What are the cleaning methods for crane mechanical parts? Shandong bridge crane manufacturer takes you to learn more.
Why do lifting machinery need regular cleaning and maintenance?
The working environment of some cranes is harsh, and a large amount of oil stains and dust will deposit on the crane. Over time, it will affect the performance of the crane components, accelerate their aging, and even pose a risk of spontaneous combustion. Therefore, it is necessary to clean these components in a timely manner. The specific steps are as follows:
First, use a brush to clean up the dust and other debris outside, and then evenly spray the cleaning agent on the areas with oil sludge. When spraying, it is also important to avoid sensitive areas such as electrical wires and appliances.
When sensitive areas also require cleaning of oil sludge, a cloth dipped in cleaning agent can be used to wipe it off. After spraying the cleaning agent, it is necessary to wait for a few minutes before proceeding to the next step of cleaning. At this point, it is easier to clean it off, and then rinse it clean with clean water. Don't forget to spray protective paint, which can reduce the corrosion of accessories.
Cleaning up mechanical scale is relatively simple, which can be removed with hydrochloric acid solution or carbonic acid descaling agent. According to different cleaning classification methods, it can be divided into cold cleaning and hot cleaning:
1. Cold cleaning: Using kerosene, gasoline, and diesel as cleaning agents, place the parts into an oil basin with a mesh screen, rinse with a wire brush, and the oil stains sink into the bottom of the basin through the mesh screen. The cleaned parts can be dried in the air.
However, it should be noted that when cleaning oil stains on friction plates, a small amount of gasoline should be used to rinse them clean. For oil stains on rubber and leather parts that are not resistant to oil, oil should not be used for cleaning. In order to save oil and achieve better cleaning effect, smaller parts with relatively clean and lubricating appearance should be washed first. Then clean the larger parts with heavy oil stains on the surface.
2. Hot washing: Clean by heating with alkaline and emulsifier solutions, as engine oil, gear oil, etc. cannot dissolve in alkaline solutions and can form emulsions. So emulsifiers need to be added to the alkaline solution.
The function of emulsifiers is to penetrate into the interior of the oil layer, weaken the binding force between oil and metal, and promote the rupture and separation of the oil film. The solution needs to be heated to 70-80 ℃, and the parts should be immersed in the solution for boiling. After cleaning the parts, they should be rinsed with water at 60-80 ℃ and then dried in the sun.
