Container lifting equipment refers to a specialized lifting device for loading and unloading containers. It is connected to the top corner fittings of the container through the locking of the four corners of its end crossbeam, and is operated and controlled by the driver to open and close the locking device for container loading and unloading operations.
Component Parts
1. Rotary lock device
The floating rotary lock can swing inside the rotating box to adapt to manufacturing errors and working deformations of the container.
2. Guiding device
The guiding device plays a positioning role when the lifting device approaches the container. It is commonly used as a guiding plate, and the end is made of steel plate with a conical angle that can rotate up and down by 180 °. When not in use, it can be flipped up.
3. Suspension and tilting devices
When a container ship tilts longitudinally or laterally, it is required that the lifting equipment should also be able to have a tolerance of ± 5 in the front, back, left, and right directions. The tilt. This is usually achieved through the extension and retraction of hydraulic cylinders or the winding of steel wire ropes.
4. Manipulate the control device
The control device includes a rotary lock drive device, a guide plate drive device, a lifting device front and rear tilting device, and a lifting device telescopic device, all of which use hydraulic transmission.
5. Control device
The four corner fittings of the lifting device are equipped with indicator lights. Only when all four corner fittings are turned on at the same time, the indicator lights will be on, and the container can be lifted.
Transportation method
According to the different connection methods between container lifting equipment and loading and unloading machinery, that is, according to the different lifting methods, the lifting methods of container lifting equipment mainly include:
1. Four lifting points for lifting
The four lifting points lifting method has four lifting points when lifting containers. The lifting equipment is connected to the container from the four lifting points and is wound on the lifting drum of the loading and unloading machinery lifting mechanism through the steel wire rope pulley system on the lifting equipment to lift the container.
Container specific loading and unloading machinery, such as shore container cranes (container loading and unloading bridges), container crossovers, container gantry cranes, etc., all use this type of container lifting equipment.
2. Single lifting point lifting
When using gantry cranes or ship suspension rods to lift containers, there is only one lifting point for the lifting equipment. After being lifted by four ropes, the lifting device is concentrated on one point of the hook. The connection between the lifting device and the container corner piece can be operated by electric, electric hydraulic or manual methods.
The lifting equipment used to lift containers, such as shackles, wire ropes, and hooks, is called rigging. The simple container lifting device mainly consists of a lifting device frame and a manual locking mechanism. They all belong to single point lifting equipment.
